- The new Max Ernst Museum
Brühl is always in the mood for a party! Whether a City Quarter Festivity, Shooting Festival, Mardi Gras, Carnival or Christmas Market– 365 days a year, things are happening around this town! Brühl is also the birthplace of the important artist Max Ernst (1891-1976). In September 2005 the “Max Ernst Museum” will be the first art center worldwide to open its doors and present a comprehensive view of the life-time work of Max Ernst. A treasure of exposition pieces has been gathered by the Max Ernst Foundation including the almost complete inventory of bronze sculptures as well as the nearly complete collection of graphics.
